Come celebrate the autumn equinox in this "Year of the Snake" with family and friends.
Snakes? Oh my! No, there will be no live snakes at this event. The theme is snakes because this is the year of the snake in the 12-year Chinese zodiac system.
This period, specifically the Year of the Wood Snake, symbolizes wisdom, intuition, and transformation, and is considered a time for personal growth and strategic planning.
During this event, you will:
*Create your personal Snake Medicine Wheel, power staff, or wand. (supplies are included)
*Drum, rattle, sing and dance in the Snake Maze.
*Learn about Snake Medicine and earn a feather.
*Participate in a releasing-letting go and calling-in fire ceremony
*Give thanks for your blessings.
*Enjoy S'mores treats.
All are welcome to this family-friendly event.
