Volunteer Service Day

Join Ada Parks & Recreation and the Kent Conservation District for a hands-on day of giving back to nature!

📅 Tuesday, July 22nd
🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Carl Creek Crossing Preserve

We’re calling on community members, nature lovers, and trail enthusiasts to lend a hand in restoring and preserving one of Ada’s natural gems. Volunteers will help:

✅ Identify and remove invasive plant species
✅ Clean up trash throughout the preserve
✅ Restore trails and walking paths
✅ Support the riparian buffer along Carl Creek
✅ Enhance this natural space for wildlife and future visitors

All ages and experience levels are welcome—just bring your enthusiasm and love for the outdoors! Tools, gloves, and guidance will be provided. (Feel free to bring your own tools and gloves if you have them)

Drinks & light refreshments will be provided as well as lunch following the event.
