Join us for our final event of ONU Design Week as we host an alumni talk by Kevin Drain (BFA/Graphic Design, ’13).
Kevin is the vice president of creative and branding at Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Dublin, Ohio.
Prior to his appointment as vice president, he served Westinghouse EC as director of brand experience in Columbus, Ohio, and as brand manager. Kevin also served as creative director, product development manager, and art director for Westinghouse Outdoor Power Equipment in Columbus. Early in his career, Kevin was the marketing coordinator at Konecranes and a graphic designer for Shift•ology Communication, both located in Springfield, Ohio.
As a student, Kevin served as a graphic design intern for Oxiem Brand Interactions in Dublin, Ohio, a marketing and communications company that specialized in various services including website project management, PR & social media, event planning, campaign management, market research, and branding & communication program development. He also was involved in several student organizations including AIGA/ONU (served as vice president), Kappa Pi art honorary (served as president), and took classes at Studio Arts College International in Florence, Italy.
