West Michigan Youth Ballet is excited to welcome instructor Alexey Kuplin (Harrid Conservatory). This brings commitment to the artistic education of young dancers as well as strength and movement education.
2 sessions per day for 3 days will be hosted at the WMYB studios which will feature both Advanced Ballet and Intermediate/Pre Advanced Ballet classes.
🔹August 18-21, 2025
🔹Cost: $50/day
▫️4 – 6 PM – Advanced Ballet – age 13 and up with at least 3 yrs of pointe
▫️6 – 8 PM – Intermediate/Pre Advanced – 11 yrs and up with at least 1 year of pointe
Alexey Bio:
Alexey Kulpin, a distinguished ballet educator and former principal dancer with companies across Russia, Israel, and the U.S. A graduate of the Institute of Culture and Art in St. Petersburg, he holds advanced degrees in ballet pedagogy and choreography. His performance credits include leading roles in Don Quixote, La Sylphide, Firebird, and more. As an award-winning artist and experienced teacher, he has trained students and staged works for top schools and competitions, including Youth America Grand Prix. Mr. Kulpin has been on faculty at The HARID Conservatory since 2016.
