84th Annual Irish Gala

The annual Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick Irish Heritage Gala is held each March on a Saturday preceding St. Patrick’s Day. This Gala celebrates the traditions of Celtic Culture in addition to being one of the major fund-raising events for the organization. The Gala brings together the membership of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick, as well as dignitaries from Ireland, to celebrate the Irish in New Bedford through traditional food, music and dancing. It is also the forum used to recognize the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick member of the year and person of the year awardees. Tickets to the event are available to members and to the public.
