*WORD FROM THE ALTAR*

SCRIPTURE: John 1: 1 - 9
Every creation of God has a beginning; because it was with God from the beginning, and was made by Him. He was, and is still the life of creation, which includes man. It is the life of God that gives meaning to man, bringing understanding to man and connect man to to God in purpose. As long as we are connected to Christ, we receive the flow of His life which lights up our lives to shine. Jesus said in John 8 : 12, I am the light of the world. He that comes to me shall not walk in darkness but will receive the light of life. It's clear in the scripture that as long as you are in Christ, He lights up your life to shine. In Matthew 5 : 14 - 16, Jesus said, you (we) are the light of the world. This suggest that as long as we are now alive, we represent Christ in person, and so we must shine because the life of God in us is the light of God which identifies and potray us as a representation of Christ in the world. We are the true light of the world when we allow Christ to be represented in us. His life then flows through us. Let's therefore allow the light of our lives shine and lights up the world for the kingdom of God. It is by this nature we can transform the world for God.God bless you.
