little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
MESSAGE
Faking love for Jesus can manifest in various ways. We might attend church services regularly, participate in Christian activities, or even share inspirational posts on social media. However, if our actions do not align with our words, we are merely pretending.
Jesus emphasizes the importance of genuine love in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commands." True love for Jesus is demonstrated through obedience to His teachings and a willingness to follow Him wholeheartedly.
To avoid faking love for Jesus, let's focus on cultivating a genuine relationship with Him. Spend time in prayer, study Scripture, and serve others selflessly, and as you do these our love for Jesus will become more authentic and evident in our actions.
DECLARE: My love for Jesus is real.
