We are delighted to announce the Convener Abuja Open House Festival
Nduwhite is the founder of International Institute for Creative Development (IICD) Abuja, a multi-disciplinary experimental art space that builds creative capacity for open thematic expression within the context of contemporary art practice, a capacity building center that provides technical sustainable assistance for creative individuals and manages cultural exchange programmes that seek to advance cultural diplomacy and social development.
He initiated IICD International Artists Residency, which has created new creative synergies, stimulated hybrid conversation and creative exchanges amongst Nigerian artists and the visiting international artists in residence, with a focus to inspire research opportunities, stimulates new arguments, dialogues and questions in line with international curatorial practices.
As founder of the International Institute for Creative Development (IICD) and curator of the Atrium Gallery at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he has played a pivotal role in elevating Nigerian art on global platforms.
His practice explores identity, political consciousness, and societal narratives, while his curatorial work continues to open doors for emerging and established artists across Africa and the diaspora.
