Abrams Spotlight Productions invites performers to audition for 1776 the Musical, a bold, witty, and powerful musical that brings the signing of the Declaration of Independence to life.
This production will be presented with a gender-neutral casting approach, and performers of any gender are encouraged to audition for roles traditionally played by men. The focus will be on strong storytelling, compelling performances, and powerful voices.
🎭 Who Should Audition:
• Actors and singers ages 16 and older
• First-time and experienced performers welcome
• Those interested in character-driven, dialogue-rich musicals
📅 Audition Dates:
Wednesday, February 11 OR Friday, February 13
⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM (you only need to attend one evening)
📍 Location:
The Nancy Byng Community Theater
5852 Maple St, Abrams, WI
🎶 Audition Preparation:
• Prepare 24–32 bars of a song from a musical
• Be prepared to read a short selection from the script
• No dance audition required
