(It's not required to take "D&D 101: How to Play Dungeons & Dragons" before this class, but it might be a good idea!)
This 2 hour class will walk you through the nuts & bolts of creating a fully realized first-level character to use in playing Dungeons & Dragons. Then you'll "test drive" your character in a short one-shot adventure, and finally learn about levelling them up to second and third level!
Topics to be covered include:
How to select a Background, Species (Race) and Class
Equipping your hero with gear
Choosing Spells and other features
A "Math Party" to demystify the calculation of skill bonuses, to-hit values, armor class, and more!
Writing backstory connections between characters and to the setting of an adventure.
We will provide the following
* Blank Character Sheets
* "Basic Rules" packet (available for discounted purchase)

* Our Professional Dungeon Master / Educator
