🎃✨Join Us for the 3rd Annual LIGHTED Halloween Parade!✨🎃
Get ready for a spooktacular evening right here on Main Street, Abingdon!
📅 Date: OCTOBER 11th
🕖 Parade Start: 7:00 PM
🕕 Line-Up: Begins at 6:15 PM at the Abingdon Community Festival grounds
Anything on wheels goes — decorate it, light it up, and roll through town! 🚗🚜🚲
💡 Costumes are encouraged, and music is welcome!
🏆 Homecoming floats are welcomed with open arms — two weekends, one big bang!
🎁 Toss candy during the parade **OR** save it to hand out afterward at Trunk or Treat, located at the fairgrounds immediately following the parade.
> 💫 We’ll go quiet & no FLASHING LIGHTS during our final turn onto Main Street — the perfect moment for families to enjoy the lights and magic.
Parade Route:
Fairgrounds → Main St (heading south) → Left on Sanitary → Left on Jefferson (heading north) → Left on Adams → Right back onto Main St → Return to the fairgrounds.
🎉 This is a fantastic opportunity for Local businesses to show our community how much you care and are involved — and the kids LOVE these parades!
🎯 After the parade, join us at the fairgrounds for Trunk or Treat, complete with games hosted by The Key Club!
