A special evening of worship and fellowship with Valley View Missionary Baptist Church

POT LUCK AND HONORED GUESTS this Sunday, 8/31 @ 5 pm at 2510 Bel Air Drive! Rev. Andrew Penns and some members of Valley View Missionary Baptist Church will be joining us this Sunday evening, with Rev. Penns preaching and his choir members providing a special hymn.

Rev. Penns is widely respected in our community--preaching for 4 decades, curator of the Curtis House Cultural Center, former NAACP chapter president, founder of ICAN (Interested Citizens of Abilene North), and THE go-to authority on the Jim Crow era and desegregation of Abilene schools.
