Crofting; Back to the Future?

Seonag Barbour presents a talk entitled 'Crofting; Back to the Future?', about her Crofting heritage in Skye.

Seonag was born into a crofting family in the North East of Skye. She worked as a Gaelic teacher and lecturer before marrying Andrew. For the last 30 odd years they have farmed The Mains of Fincastle, alongside their 3 children. In her talk, Seonag will explore her crofting heritage, throwing light on a way of life that bound people, land and language together.
