This beautiful sunset meditation ‘melts’ the rocklike being transforms repressed and blocked energy into bliss and joy and moves us upward into silence.
Come join us for a fabulous active meditation while gazing at the wonderful hills of Deeside. A fantastic way of unwinding and letting go at the end of the day.
OSHO Kundalini Meditation: Thursdays Aboyne.
Doors open at 5.25 arrive by 5.30 for an easy flow circle before we start (let me know in advance if you’d like cacao). Arrive by 6 at the latest if this is your first time. Instructions will be given at 6pm and door locked at 6.25.
Meditation will begin 6.30 and lasts an hour.
You are welcome to dip in to this offering as suits.
KUNDALINI MEDITATION
This meditation is best done at sunset or in the late afternoon. Being fully immersed in the shaking and dancing of the first two stages helps to ‘melt’ the rocklike being wherever the energy flow has been repressed and blocked. Then that energy can flow dance and be transformed into bliss and joy. The last two stages enable all this energy to flow vertically to move upward into silence. It is a highly effective way of unwinding and letting go at the end of the day.
The meditation is to be done with its specific OSHO Kundalini Meditation music which indicates and energetically supports the different stages. Further instruction and direction will come on booking.

Let’s look at how meditation can happen when we are immersed in moving our bodies.
OSHO Kundalini Meditation is a dynamic form of meditation created by Osho who developed a series of meditations that involve music and movement. In today’s world many of us find it difficult to sit still and reach the depths of meditation. However if we are completely present as we shake dance or sit we can indeed reach a state of being of is-ness of buddha-hood.
OSHO Kundalini Meditation is a 60-minute practice with four different stages of 15 minutes each accompanied by music composed especially for it.
The Benefits of Active Meditations
Usually we think of meditation sitting in stillness only but you can also come to a meditative state with movement. Osho emphasized that it is not enough to work with our minds only but we need to include the body in our practices to come back to our hearts and feel the energy at our very core.
In our modern world we are so used to think plan structure rationalize and accumulate knowledge so most people find it difficult to meditate in the traditional manner – when we try the mind can get busy the inner chatter louder when you try to find inner calmness and peace the body restless and uncomfortable.
Osho active meditations start with at least one phase of activity allowing the body to let go get loose and then free the mind. Then it becomes much easier to move into a deep state of stillness and relaxation. OSHO Kundalini meditation allows you to reconnect to yourself and to come back to the here and now.
What is the Kundalini?
Kundalini is a primordial creative energy that is mostly dormant within us. In ancient texts this energy is depicted as a coiled-up snake and upon awakening the energy can move up along the spine. There is no one method for awakening the Kundalini its unfolding is very individual and can happen with work or spontaneously – all in in divine timing. With certain practices like Kundalini Meditation or Kundalini Yoga we can awaken this creative energy within us. For some it might happen gradually for others it can be a transformational life changing sudden experience.
After OSHO Kundalini meditation you feel may more alive get tingling sensations in your limbs or feel that more energy is moving inside your body. Universal energy can flow uninhibited when we free ourselves from blocks and conditioning that limit the access and flow of life force. When energy is flowing we will then be able to fulfil our true potential and live a more authentic and meaningful life.
Who was Osho?
Osho was a famous spiritual teacher in India (1931 – 1990) also known as Rajneesh or Bhagavan. His teachings touched the hearts of people all over the world. He has many followers sannyasin many of whom like me facilitate his work to help us let go of our conditioning and live in the here and now.
