Carlton Kirby's True Tales of the Tour de France

ABERDEEN TOUR DE FRANCE NIGHT, 11 NOVEMBER 2025: Eurosport's lead cycling commentator Carlton Kirby shares tall tales and frank opinions from his 25 years on air.

In an entertaining and revealing evening for all cycling fans, Carlton will be sharing his front-row experiences from across his career at the Tour and other big races – plus the lessons he’s learned from life on the road, as a bon viveur in budget hotels across Europe.

Carlton Kirby has been in the commentary box for a golden age of British cycling and the evening will also include stories of his not-always-happy dealings with British stars from Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome to Mark Cavendish.

Following on from a storming, sell-out show in Glasgow last year, this will be Carlton's first-ever show in Aberdeen. He will be in conversation with former Procycling magazine writer Duncan Steer. There will be a chance to ask your own questions. Tickets are £16.17, including a booking fee.
