PLAY SYNOPSIS:
Struggling artist Payne Showers dies. Fortunately, Payne's death inflates the value of his work. Unfortunatey, his estranged wife, Maggie, must sell it all to avoid bankruptcy. As she hosts a private showing of her deceased husband's artwork at her country home, a winter storm breaks and threatens to keep the entire party housebound. Then...Payne Showers walks through the door. What follows is a desperate attempt to conceal Payne's true identity as the real identity of other party guests are revealed.

Payne Showers (30s – 40s) Allegedly deceased struggling artist. Charismatic and self-absorbed.
Richard: (30s - 40s) High-strung art gallery manager.
Trent Matlock (20s - 30s) Handsome but dim-witted soap opera actor.
Mick Fitzgerald (40 - 60) Filthy rich, intimidating real estate mogul.
FEMALE ROLES:
Maggie La Rue (30s – 40s) Ex-wife of artist Payne Showers.
Graciela (20s – 30s) Streetwise cocktail waitress. (Spanish or Bronx accent)
Judith Fontaine (40 - 60) Elegant and influential newspaper maven.
Emma (30s – 40s) Humorless art critic.
REHEARSALS:
October 27 through December 10 - Weekday evenings (6:30-8:30pm) and Weekend afternoons (2 - 4pm) depending on cast availability.
