In the chaos of early 1980s New York, a young woman from New Jersey dives headfirst into the city’s fading punk scene, determined to carve out a place for herself—no matter the cost. Drifting between squats, strangers, and fleeting opportunities, she clings to the fantasy of becoming someone memorable in a world that thrives on transience and indifference. As the city pulses with grit, noise, and disillusionment, her journey becomes a portrait of ambition, alienation, and the fragile line between reinvention and self-erasure. Without a plan, without roots, and without apologies, she fights to be seen in a place where no one is really looking.
