For beginners who want to understand the essential first steps in creating a well-fitting garment or for the more advanced would like to improve their dressmaking skills. You’ll learn how to accurately take measurements, read a pattern, and create a toile (a practice version of a garment made from calico — a crucial part of the design and fitting process. The pattern attendees pick for the workshop should be according to their skill level or more advanced for those who already do dressmaking.
