Young Irelands GAA Club, Gowran was founded in 1952. Due to an increasing club membership new grounds were purchased in 2014. The development work on these grounds is ongoing with a view to providing a modern GAA & Sports Complex for our local community. Kilkenny Country Music Festival is one of the core fundraisers towards this development work.
