Dakaari also hosts one-of-a-kind perfume-making experiences. It is an opportunity for all who are interested in learning more about the basics of perfumery to embark on a journey which allows them to create their own custom fragrance. The workshops will guide participants in an exploration of the various of notes, ingredients, and techniques used to masterfully curate extraordinary fragrances. Each workshop will start with an introductory discussion about the history of perfume, fragrance families, aroma categories, types of oils and blending techniques, followed by an extended period of time where participants will be given the time and space to explore and create their own custom fragrances. Participants will be able to experiment with various oils, adjusting here and there until the scent meets their desired uniqueness. Participants will also be able to ask as many questions as they would like throughout the process. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have a custom fragrance that they can take home, along with a new understanding of the world of perfumery. You can come on your own, with family and with friends to these special workshops, to learn something new about both yourself and perfumery.
