The Friends of Van Cortlandt Park and the Van Cortlandt Park Conservancy have merged to become a new stewardship organization for the Park: The Van Cortlandt Park Alliance. The Van Cortlandt Park Alliance works to preserve, support, and promote the recreational,ecological, and historic value of Van Cortlandt Park, including: ● Elevating the visibility and profile of Van Cortlandt Park; ● Advocating for and supporting maintenance and improvement projects; ● Raising and managing capital and other resources to support improvements; ● Encouraging and supporting appropriate uses of Van Cortlandt Park.
