Follow Uptown Knauer Performing Arts CenterMy date and walked out at the intermission. The music was too loud, even for Neil Diamond. The lead wore his hair unlike Neil, come on, make some sort of effort to look like Neil. The music was so loud my friend went and got ear plugs from your management and and I sat with one ear pushed closed. The lead spoke as if he had no idea about the Up[town history. He tried many times to be funny, and failed many times. He didn't even sound like Neil. We came to hear Neil like, not a failed comic. we have been to the Uptown and been very pleased, in fact we have tickets for Linda and Chicago. We should of taken the hint on this guy, with the half empty Uptown.
