Notre corps professoral se compose d’interprètes menant des carrières de niveaux national et international et des chercheurs qui sont des figures de proue dans leurs champs. Nos étudiants peuvent poursuivre leur programmes en anglais ou en français. Les opportunités de se produire en concert abondent, aidé par nos associations étroites avec des organismes tels l’Orchestre du centre national des arts et l’Orchestre symphonique d’Ottawa. Notre campus se situe au cœur de la capitale nationale, permettant à nos étudiants un accès facile au riche milieu culturel et bilingue qui caractérise notre région. We offer a broad array of undergraduate and graduate programs. Our teaching faculty is made up of active performers on the national and international scene and scholars at the top of their fields. Our students have the opportunity to follow their course of study in English and French. Performance opportunities are many with close ties to arts organizations such as the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and the National Arts Centre. Our campus is located in the heart of the nation’s capital, making it easy for our students to enjoy the bilingual milieu and rich cultural life of the region.

“Celllobration was exactly that--A wonderful afternoon, two of the best U of O's cello students, Natalie Wong and William Voth sharing the stage with master cellists, their professor Paul Marleyn, and the extraordinary Leo Singer offering his gift as visiting master & mentor.--I particularly enjoyed the Frank Bridge's sonata, closing my eyes imaging a romantic European film scene. But it was the four cellists performing Ravel's Bolero that had the audience standing, shouting bravo.--A gift to the audience,--Thank you!”

“The event was excellent! Incredible musical talents amongst choristers and musicians. However, the system to reserve seats does not work. For many years, we could attend that Christmas event on a first come first serve basis and the place was full. With the reserve seat in advance system, about one month before the event, it is sold out and the day of the event there are many empty seats. It seems that some people might reserve tickets and do not show up, which is very unfortunate for the ones who would like to come and cannot because it "seems" to be sold out.”

“It was in every way wonderful--The excitement, talent, and enthusiasm of the students was like a trip to various Spanish destinations.--The use of the paintings, the consistency of the red and black.--And, I almost didn't go.--I thanked a couple of the performers as I left for the evening, heading out to watch the baseball game.”
