This was such a blast !!!! The instructor was lovely and super helpful, and I’m thrilled with what I made!!! The paint she brought was stellar to work with.

The instructor, Kat, had organized dot painting tools, paints and instructions for the 15 attendees. She had brought beautiful samples of completed the wooden hamsa hands to help attendees visualize colour combinations, feel textures. Kay explained about the legend of the hamsa hand. It would have been useful to have had that printed and handed out in advance as I found it difficult to hear Kat. Some people were already familiar with dot painting and started to create their art pieces early. It might be a good idea to ask first time attendees to sit at one end of the craft table so Kay can take the extra time to coach them if other attendees want to start early. The workshop time worked out well and Kay also provided us with the beads and tassels to finish our projects. Kat had soft music playing in the background - it was a very therapeutic few hours. Really enjoyed the ambiance and happy with my effort.
