Trans/Queer Partners in Dance

I recently attended a Bachata basics class at Dance Drafts, held at Manuscript, and it was an incredible experience! The location itself is stunning, offering a beautiful view that adds to the overall ambiance. The instructors were exceptional—patient, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in our learning. They not only taught us the fundamentals of Bachata but also provided invaluable tools on how to politely and physically set boundaries when we felt uncomfortable. This thoughtful approach made the class feel safe and welcoming for everyone. Connecting with new people in such a positive environment was a highlight of my experience. The 1-4 pm schedule was perfect, allowing ample time to learn and practice. I'm looking forward to seeing more Bachata classes in the future, and hopefully, some intermediate classes as well! I highly recommend Dance Drafts at Manuscript to anyone looking to learn dance in a supportive and beautiful setting.
