Odayme Quesada, MD, MHS, Women’s Heart Center Medical Director and Ginger Warner Endowed Chair in Women’s Cardiovascular Health founded The Women’s Heart Center on four fundamental pillars: excellent clinical cardiac care, innovative clinical research, education, and community outreach. The Center features a comprehensive approach to women’s cardiovascular health through the Women’s Cardiovascular Clinic, Intrapartum and Postpartum Heart Health Program, Preventative Women’s Heart Health Program, and the gender neutral MINOCA/INOCA/Coronary Microvascular Dysfunction Program. The Women’s Heart Center also partners with The Carl & Edyth Lindner Center for Research and Education to support one of the largest research portfolios in women’s cardiovascular disease. The Center is active in both professional and public education initiatives as well as community outreach efforts with the goal of sharing knowledge and increasing awareness.
