Follow The RiverfrontABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! First time we had seen a Bee Gees tribute band & hopefully not the last we see of this outstanding group of artists!! The theatre was a sold-out event & the group did us proud, going through the catalogue of hits that both they had written & recorded + the songs recorded by other artists. Close your eyes & you would think it was the BEE GEES themselves- they harmonised so well going through their catalogue of hits. Grease, Jive Talkin, Staying Alive, Massachusetts, Staying Alive, Tragedy. How Deep is Your Love was mesmerising - they had us in the palm of their hands then. A change of costume for the 2nd half when they came out in white suits with black shirts & had us dancing in the aisles & in front of our seats. 10/10 from us - they were faultless & all too soon the night was over. I hope they pay us another visit next year
Review for : The Magic of The Bee Gees (2025)
AWESOME!! Elvis Years played to a sell-out theatre, we haven't seen him for almost 2 years as he was appearing @ The Dominion Theatre in London & what a performance he gave us!!! From the early years @ Sun Records right through to his performances @ the International Hotel in Las Vegas over a 6 year period, performing to sold out audiences every night. Such was the talent & magnetism of Elvis which was faultlessly displayed by Mario Kombo in The Elvis Years!! Elvis fan base had no boundaries - the youngest & oldest all worshipped him, there was a 7 year old boy in our audience - dressed in a white jump suit - who came to the front & was singing & dancing with his idol. Over the many many years that I have followed the Elvis Years, I had never heard him sing In the Ghetto or Crying in the Chapel - tonight's performance changed that. The rendition of I the Ghetto made my day!!!
