Follow The Mamas NetworkFirst, I absolutely love this idea, and was so grateful for the event. My issue was that when the kids and dad arrived... there were no donuts. I am happy to pay (and donated to the cause!) but I just was expecting there to be what was originally advertised. After about an hour there, it looked like people were perturbed there weren't donuts, and Dad left with the kids to go to Dimo's to get donuts because the kids had been expecting them, and they saw the person managing the event also grabbing donuts. Which, great, but shouldn't they have been there from the start? I'm glad we went, and we'll go again (even if we have to pay for attending) but if there aren't donuts, just don't advertise that.

We are a support community for all mothers - whether birthing or non-birthing, stay-at-home or working, single or in a partnership, traditional or polyamorous, younger or older, IVF, adoption, natural; the list is endless. It doesn’t matter what the labels say. The only part that matters is that you are a mother, and we are here for you. Becoming a mother can be incredibly isolating, confusing, and defeating, but you are not alone. Your village is here. The mission of The Mamas Network is to make sure no mama feels alone in their journey through motherhood by building a vibrant and supportive community. Our purpose is to provide a supportive third space where mamas can connect with one another and build upon their village. Our network creates a structure that supports mamas where they are in their journey through motherhood.
