Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), offered in English and Spanish, is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to recognize and respond to signs of mental illness or substance use disorder, or to assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis. This training is available both virtually and in-person.Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is intended for anyone who works with youth and young adults ages 12–18 who may be showing early signs of a mental health challenge, substance use disorder or experiencing a crisis. Instructors cover risk factors and warning signs specific to this age group, with a focus on the importance of early intervention. This course is also offered virtually and in-person.
