About Taylor Richardson She has been featured local, national, and international news outlets, magazines, and in several books and documentaries. She even has her own documentary self entitled Astronaut StarBright the story of a STEM advocate that won several film festival awards. Taylor’s service and advocacy work continues to have an incredible trajectory that began when she was nine. And she continues to be a pacesetter for youth philanthropy and STEM advocacy for the last 10 years! Taylor is also the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for her literacy, STEM and service work. Whether it’s her Taylor’s Take Flight with a Book drive that has collected and donated over 20,000 books within and outside of the U.S., her back to school drives that have donated over 5000 backpacks with supplies to underserved youth in Jacksonville, her senior thanksgiving luncheons that have fed over 1500 seniors in Jacksonville or her crowdfunding efforts that to date has raised over $350,000 for various initiatives that focus on gender, race, STEM, health, equity and education for all girls Taylor continues shining a light that representation matters! Her goal to bring a sisterhood of warriors with her all the way to the stars by disrupting the status quo where girls like her have equal representation at all tables.
