Follow SPRINGBOARD - YEAPSpringboard: Youth Arts and Entrepreneurship Program is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young artists and entrepreneurs by providing hands-on opportunities to develop real-world skills in business, marketing, financial literacy, and creative problem-solving.At Springboard’s annual event, up to 40 youth entrepreneurs, ages 8-18, will be challenged to create and develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and open for customers at our signature event: Durango’s Youth Arts Festival and Makers Market.All community youth will be invited to attend free educational entrepreneurial workshops to prepare them for success. These workshops include two age-appropriate sessions: Money Moves: Financial Literacy for Youth Entrepreneurs and Youth Entrepreneurs and the Makers Market (focused on marketing and logistics). Additionally, they will have opportunities to connect with local artists and entrepreneurs through Mentor Chats and presentations. These workshops are designed to strengthen their business, marketing, and financial skills.This program not only supports youth participation in the arts and entrepreneurship, but it also helps them develop valuable life skills that will serve them for years to come.
