Rotary Club of Marina City, Singapore

The Rotary Club of Marina City was chartered in 1984. Our 40 members do much good work in Singapore and abroad. Part of our immediate family are also the Rotaract Club of Marina City as well as the Interact Club of Dunman Secondary School and the Saints Interact Club at St. Andrew's School.Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 32,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self. As of early 2012, Rotary Clubs worldwide had committed more than US$1 billion to the eradication of polio, sparing more than an estimated 5 million children a lifetime of paralysis.
