“I think the event was very well co-ordinated and organised ... loved the idea of holi plus food plus small play area for kids and music. The whole event was affordable as well. There are 2 feedbacks - 1. I think it would have better if we were using small paper bags for colours so that we could have been environmentally friendly. 2. I think a couple more options in food would be perfect something hot as the day was on not v hot. But I guess overall it was brilliant.”

“A brilliant event for families celebrating Diwali! A welcoming and warm atmosphere was created with Indian music and stalls selling Indian food, jewellery, books and more! The highlight for our daughter was the arts and craft activities - each child was given their own bags with all the materials required, which meant they could relax and enjoy chatting and making rangoli designs or painting diya's with their friends (and if projects weren't complete, they could finish it at home). We were impressed with how well organised the event was - from securing sponsorship of the bags, organising the stalls, preparing the crafts to setting up the rooms - no small feat for a team of volunteers! We are very grateful!”
