Beautiful place to have a 5K. There seemed to be some confusion between the combined groups for the race and the finish line. One side did not want dogs and seemed perturbed. Also the Shamrock 5k were not communicating with the participants effectively and there was confusion over the medals. The staff had told people to wait till after all the participants who placed for medals to get their award medals. Which was incorrect, leaving multiple people waiting for over an hour to learn they were not getting a medal for finishing the race. This seemed to be the consensu - as people left disappointed. Personally, I feel it would have been okay, if the staff/volunteers communicated effectively at the beginning.
