Follow Other CountriesFounded in New York City in 1986, Other Countries is a Black queer men's writing collective dedicated to creating space for Black LGBTQ+ writers, artists, and community members to share their stories, support one another, and build community through literature and cultural programming.For nearly four decades, Other Countries has fostered dialogue, creativity, and connection through writing workshops, public readings, performances, and publications.
