NYSOM Group is an organization dedicated to ending the cycle of poverty in the New York City Metropolitan Area. NYSOM Group has three primary functions which we use to accomplish our goals Nysom participates in community service projects with various organizations in NYC that offer services to different sectors of the community living below the poverty line. (Homeless, Elderly, At Risk Youth, Disabled, Low Income Families, Working Poor, Etc) Nysom also has a number of community outreach programs in development. Our goal is to offer a number of programs directly to our target community of those living below the poverty line .(Homeless, Elderly, At Risk Youth, Disabled, Low Income Families, Working Poor, Etc) Nysom also produces community events to make a positive impact in low income communities. The events can be recreational, educational or inspirational but the point of the event to create a positive atmosphere that will give residents of the community an alternative to their normal surroundings. Through Nysom Group’s projects, programs and events we aim to continue to be a source of service for the community living below the poverty line and an organization that can continue to make a long lasting positive impact in the NYC area.
