The Lake States Lumber Association (LSLA) was incorporated in 1983 to fill the need for an association that would represent a broad cross-section of individuals and business organizations involved with the timber industry. LSLA provides aggressive leadership on issues vital to the timber industry. The Association thrives on volunteerism from its membership and to this day operates without a paid executive director. The Association's activities are implemented through various committees.
