KNOX INTERFAITH NETWORK

The aim of the Knox Interfaith Network (KIN) is to encourage better understanding of religious communities in Knox, so that these communities can co-exist peacefully and productively with each other and the broader community.We endeavour to do this through dialogue, education and visitation programs involving:Opportunities to discuss matters of common concern in an open and friendly environment;Planning and conducting of multi- and inter-faith events;Informative presentations by member communities on the basic tenets of their faith;Tours of places of worship in the City of Knox and neighbouring municipalitiesWe operate independently of Knox Council, but acknowledge and appreciate the support given by Councillors/staff and the resources made available. This website was in fact supported by a grant from the Knox City Council Community Development Fund.We strive to work together as community in dialogue, with respect for and understanding of our neighbours.
