Keep Music Alive is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to promote the value of music: for children's education, for the many types of therapy music is utilized for and for our overall happiness as a society. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn how to play music and every adult should be reminded that it's never to late to start playing. To support this mission, Keep Music Alive founded two international music holidays:Teach Music WeekandKids Music Day. Together, we partner with hundreds of music school and retail locations in the US, Canada and around the world to offer free lessons to new students and bring more music to their communities through a variety of events and activities, including our year-round Musical Instrument Petting Zoo programs. All donations to Keep Music Alive are tax-deductible and support Kids Music Day, Teach Music Week and our year-round Instrument Petting Zoo programs.Keep Music Alive Federal EIN# 82-2571853 .
