Indian Hill Manor and Farm Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and stands majestically above the Rock and Kishwaukee rivers. This lovely estate is rich in history from the early 1900s and includes a manor house, coach house, and dairy farm. T he Smeja Family Foundation was created in 2001 to preserve the manor and grounds and to promote historic preservation. The mission of the Smeja Family Foundation is to preserve Indian Hill Manor and Farm and to support educational activities related to historic preservation, land conservation, agriculture, archeology, and the history of the Kishwaukee community.
