Follow Historic TrappeHistoric Trappe preserves and shares the historic places and heritage of southeastern Pennsylvania. Visit our three sites: Dewees Tavern, home to the Center for Pennsylvania German Studies with exhibitions and archives; the Henry Muhlenberg House, a furnished museum interpreting the Muhlenberg family; and The Speaker’s House, an active restoration with a PA German kitchen garden. We also steward the 1745 Muhlenberg Parsonage, now under study for future restoration.
