Review for : SR. NTR MEMORIAL 10K RUN 2023
Delighted to partake in the 10K, organised with a noble objective. I clocked 1:29:13 at the age of 76 years, 8 months. This is my 11th run and I did not run or jog but only walked as fast as I could. Just 2 weeks earlier I underwent cataract surgery for both my eyes. And I followed the advice of my doc. The results haven’t shown age-wise analysis. Had it been, it would have provided a bit more insightful analysis. Compared to my earlier run, on 27 Aug 2023 (NMDC Hyderabad Marathon), I was now faster by 0:05:04. But the terrain is plain in the current run, whereas the earlier one was undulating with steep ascents and descents. My hearty congrats to each and every finisher, especially the toppers. A nice sidelight is, I ran into a few people whom I am now acquainted with. They are Bhagwan Gorti (BIB 10178), Lakshmi Priya G (BIB 10170), Deepa Selvaraju (BIB 10169), and Siva Kommuri (BIB 10197).
