Country Dance New York is an all-volunteer group that shares our love of Contra dancing and English Country dancing by hosting weekly English and Contra dances September-June. Reflecting our NYC roots, we are a diverse group of dancers — from old-timers who have been dancing for decades to young folks who discovered us last month; men and women; straight and gay, people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and occupations. On the dance floor we become one community through the joy of dancing.
