Community Alliance Broxbourne and East Herts is a small charity based in Stanstead Abbotts. We support local voluntary organisations, empower community groups, build local partnerships and improve residents’ lives in the communities of Broxbourne and East Herts. We operate in four areas which are Engaging Residents, Supporting Health and Wellbeing, Helping Groups, and Employment and Skills.Some of our services and projects include:Digital Skills Groups - A digital skills group held in various East Herts locations aimed at supporting those who are struggling to use their digital devices.Job Smart and Job Club - A community-based project aimed at helping residents who are unemployed and require help to navigate the job-seeking market.Multiply - a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. Courses are available for individuals aged 19 and over who don’t have Maths GCSE at Grade C (or equivalent). Courses include - Funding Workshops, Slow Cooking and Beginner Digital Skills for Work.Community Builder - A free service offer for community organisations offering up to free six-hour 1-to-1 support to help you set up a project or grow your exisiting community organisation.For full information about all of our projects and services, visit our website communityalliancebeh.org.uk.
