Black Label was founded in 2021 by Chef-Owner Nicole Hicks, affectionately known as Nikki by her family and friends. Nikki graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in 2015 and is also an American Culinary Federation Certified Culinarian. In September 2021 she became a Food Network Chopped Champion after winning a Playing With Fire: High Stakes Episode! Born in Brooklyn New York & raised in Baltimore Maryland, Nikki grew up in cities full of diverse food and culture. She was gifted with a passion for food and natural talent for cooking which led to her endless pursuit of feeding the world with love.
