This is a difficult review to write. Let me start off by saying i LOVE Calloway Gardens. This event though... Failure in so many ways. 1. We arrived at the gardens at 510, our reservation was for 530, Plenty of time to get seated etc. Not a soul we talked to knew where this was happening. I mean NO ONE. We were sent in to this place and that place, ultimately ending up on the other side of the lake, opposite where we found out we were supposed to be. WALKING at this point because the man who seemed to know where we were supposed to go after we went to the Piedmont Dining room sent us off but left and right were forgotten. 2. Finally sweaty and annoyed just a bit about the hour we have spent walking, we find the Ski Pavillion. Outside... OUTSIDE for a dinner we paid 150.00 for plus the 60.00 we had to pay to enter the gardens. 3. Food.. Cmon folks where did this come from? Pulled pork that was over sweetened, Dried out bland salmon.
