“ I recently had the opportunity to trek Kunagalu Betta, and it was an unforgettable experience. The scenic views, unique rock formations, and peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal getaway from the city's hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this trek to anyone looking for a short and rewarding adventure. I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Waseem for nurturing us during this short Journey. My special thanks to Bengaluru By Foot for organising such a platform and giving us a chance to create mesmerizing memories. Kudos to you!!!”
“An amazingly well thought out and well-organised walk. Definitely worth doing!!!”
“The Heritage walk at Malleshwaram was a wonderful experience. Mansoor is very knowledgeable, not opinionated, covered a lot of places and does these walks purely out of passion and his love from heritage. The walk was at the right pace, not rushed, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. The general banter was very good. Highly recommended”
“In the footsteps of the tiger was one of the best walks we have attended. After residing in Bangalore for more than 20 years I was able to connect all the dots regarding the history of this beautiful city. Tipu's Summer Palace, his Armoury and the remaining parts of the Bangalore Fort was a treat to the eyes. Mansoor took extra efforts to give us all the details about Wodyar Kings, Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan. Thus providing a good overview of life and times of the Karnataka kings.”
“Excellent walk!”
“The walk was wonderful and informative. Thank you so much Mansoor for organising this walk. ”
“Loved it. Mansoor is such an excellent walk leader, full of fascinating facts and insights. ”
“A walk with Bengaluru by Foot is always fulfilling,as well as filling. Mansoor selects the choicest places for a hearty breakfast before the walk and Prakash Cafe is the perfect place before experiencing the lost, crumbling and conserved heritage of Chamrajpet. Even though it is a relatively shorter walk circuit, compared to his other walking tours, the experience isn't a short circuit. Waiting for the next tour now, hopefully it happens soon”
“It can not be better than this. I encourage Bengaluru by foot to organise more such events. All the other participants as well as the host were so caring and comfortable like a family. The event was well designed very well executed. The driver of the vehicle was amazing and made our journey to Sri rangapattana very comfortable. All kudos to Mansoor Ali for organising this amazing event”
“Enriching experience.”
“Thank you for nice exploration! It was very good experience to know Bangalore. ”
“Ramzan Iftar walk was a gastronomic experience. We were able to taste a variety of Ramzan delicacies. Some of them were home made, especially the shammi kebabs, mutton chop gravy with paratha, was finger licking, and we were lucky to relish them. The ande ki mithai was amazing. Albert bakery's keema samosa, brain puffs and khoya naan were out of the world. The Syrian food at Zaks was again a great experience. Mansoor Bhai took us to the best places for us to enjoy these delicacies, there was wide choice of dishes to try and the walk was truly a lifetime experience. Thanks to Mansoor Bhai for his knowledge of the right places as on our own it wouldn't have been possible. ”
“Great fun. Thank you Mansur :)”
“Explored little known aspects of Malleshwaram. Mansoor was knowledgeable and made the walk memorable with story telling and history. ”
“Enjoyed the walk with Ali. He's very well informed and has lots to share, with a sprinkle of humour! ”
“This is an easy-paced walk that takes in an important part of Bangalore's history. Mansoor Ali (our seasoned guide) was full of interesting stories and details that made history come alive. Recommended.”
“Great experience. Visited 150 year old house which had stunning dolls display. The host was also teaching Bharatnatyam in a grand space at the back of house. The organizer is very friendly and very generous. The group was the right size and felt cozy and welcoming. It's a really heartwarming and unique experience .”
“NagarathPet Pettah walk was an enriching experience. I have been staying in Bangalore for the past 25 years but was oblivious to the existence of the Draupadi temple, the silk yarn dyeing and weaving and the Goldsmith market. So many sufi dargahs one can visit and pray. Overall a very fulfilling time spent. Thanks to the event organisers and Mansoor Ali. Looking forward for the next one.”
“We enjoyed the Pettah walk in Cotton pet. Amazed to know so many unknown Temples, wrestling akhada, massage centre and the Sufi dargah. It was truly a pleasurable experience. Mansoor Ali's knowledge about the city was commendable. Excited to go for the next walk. Thanks for organising such interesting events.”
“Mansoor Ali is so well-informed and knows the nooks and corners of Bangalore so well. Thoroughly enjoyable walk.”
“very modestly priced and very information-dense, was an amazing experience the guide had a ton of info to share, although the walk seemed a bit rushed. Could have been more leisurely and interactive, but was a fantastic experience nonetheless.”
“Had a great time on the walk. Kudos to Mr Ali for his knowledge and enthusiasm for the city and its sights! ”
“Excellent food and heritage walk.”
“One half of the world doesn't know how the other half lives. Differences apart, I am absolutely sure that both the halves are united in the spirit of festivity, across regions and across tradition. It was a pleasant experience to behold the superb Dasara golu at a home in Basavanagudi, painstakingly organised by Mr Ravi for past six months, with his treasure of over 5000 golu dolls, the theme being the legend of Tirupati temple. Beginning with the departure of Lakshmi from Kshirsagar, and culminating in her return through the story of Devi Padmavati's birth in Kolhapur, the loan obtained from Kuber and the shrine itself, with the ornamentations and the rituals being depicted by means of dolls, it was all there, in pomp and splendor , albeit miniaturised. Three floors of the house decorated with dolls are not just a work of passion, but dedication, devotion and outright obsession. At one level it was reminiscent of the various jhankis set up at Janmashtami and Tesu at Dussehra, an the other, it was superlative”
“Malleshwaram walk was very informative. It covered a wide range of subjects..temples, heritage houses, dhobhi ghat, famous breakfast joints, etc. ”
“It was an interesting and enjoyable experience, our guide was knowledgeable and explained the historical facts in an amusing manner.”
“It was an excellent outing ”
