BareRoots Festival

BareRoots Festival is a free, community-built music and arts festival held in the heart of Syracuse, NY. Created by neighbors who believe in the city’s creative spirit, BareRoots brings together local musicians, artists, vendors, and neighbors for a day of shared experiences under the canopy of Thornden Park.Our mission is simple: to showcase original music, celebrate local art, and create a welcoming space where everyone feels connected. Every detail, from the stage lineup to the market vendors, is rooted in Syracuse talent and supported by local partnerships.BareRoots is more than an event. It is a catalyst for connection, pride, and creative growth in our city. Built entirely by volunteers and funded through community support, the festival reflects what is possible when we work together to lift up local talent and invite everyone to be part of the experience.
