Earning a degree from Utah State University in the College of Family Life and continuing her studies in Health, Recreation, and Nutrition. On her quest in the therapeutic fields, she was led to the healing power of sound. Sound influences the healing process by altering cellular functions through energy effects. This allows biological systems to function better. It calms the mind and thereby the body, and the emotional effects in turn balance the immune system. The sound and vibration emitted by the gong penetrates the physical body positively affecting the brain.Sound Therapy with Gong is proving to have positive effects on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. In her sessions she incorporates the fundamental elements or Tattvas with Native American flutes and rain sticks, whistles from the Yucatan, Tibetan bowls, Shamanic drums, and shells from the Caribbean. The summer of 2022 Barbara was baptized into a relationship with an autoimmune condition that challenged her to go deeper into a cellular understanding of mortality. In her extensive experience of healing modalities, she has found the body, the soul, and the mind, in concert respond to Sound Therapy.
