In St. Cloud, MN, two amazing professors and mentors, Dr. Robert Johnson and Dr. Freddie Walker, envisioned a way to create a home-like atmosphere for students. They inspired the celebration of Juneteenth in our vibrant community! Over the years, this initiative blossomed into the African American Male Forum, bringing together professionals and students who share a passion for community engagement. For over 30 years, this wonderful group has hosted unforgettable events like Kwanzaa and Juneteenth celebrations. Beyond festivities, they are dedicated to mentorship projects with local youth and supporting various community initiatives. Their commitment truly enriches our community, fostering connections and uplifting everyone involved!
